The Alternative Christmas Fair - An Introduction
OOTC_CVM_Centre Helps.jpg
The 42 annual UBBC Alternative Christmas Fair will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 8th. Thirty-one local, national, and international charities will take part in the Fair in UBBC’s Fellowship Hall, 411 S. Burrowes St., State College.
Come to the Fair and visit the booths and displays set up by each charity! Fairgoers designate the charities they want to support and the amount they want to give to each. They can do all their year-end giving with just one check or credit card swipe!
For alternative holiday gift giving, UBBC provides cards and envelopes to designate gifts in the name of loved ones or friends. This year, back by popular demand, visitors can also enjoy lunch at the Fair!
For those who can't attend the Fair in person, there is an online giving option. Visit the website between December 2nd and 22nd to donate by credit card or download a form to give by check.
The Alternative Christmas Fair has become a beloved local institution. Since 1982 a total of $909,885 has been raised for charity by this event. Make the season merrier by supporting the good work of these charities! Join your friends and neighbors at The Alternative Christmas Fair!
