April 17, 9:30 a.m. Easter Sunday Alleluia! Christ is risen! The Good Gardener, John 20:1-18
Easter Sunday marks the close of the sermon series, Good Enough: Embracing the Imperfections of Life and Faith. In John’s gospel Mary Magdalene discovers that the tomb is empty and mistakes Jesus for the gardener. Only when he calls her by name does she recognize the Good Gardener, Tender of Souls. The Easter message will be shared by multiple voices. Join this Easter Celebration and a time of festive singing with the Sanctuary Choir, organ and brass! The Deacons will provide light refreshments on the church lawn after worship.
