Bonnie Kline Smeltzer
Pastor
Bonnie came to UBBC in the fall of 2002. Having grown up in Baltimore she was coming home after pastoring in California with her husband for 16 years. Bonnie loves to plan worship, lead small groups, talk with people about life and faith, and sing in the choir. Bonnie pastors from the heart and finds it important to connect to those she serves by bringing real life and a living faith together. For fun, she likes to travel, work out at the Y, go to the beach and the movies, read, and have last minute get-togethers with friends. Recently she has developed a love for all things Costa Rican! Bonnie has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Elizabethtown College and a Masters of Divinity from Bethany Theological Seminary. She completed the 2 year Oasis Ministries program, Spiritual Direction for Spiritual Guides. By far her greatest education has come from her family and the people in the congregations she has served. Bonnie can be reached by email at bonnie@ubbcwelcome.org.
