Jonah has been involved with the UBBC Sanctuary Choir since 2019, and he is thrilled to now serve as the Director of Music! Jonah is currently a doctoral candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State, where he also received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. His research focuses on developing new mathematical tools for safety verification of autonomous systems.

 

Outside of his “day job” in engineering research, music is Jonah’s greatest passion. He has studied the piano for almost 18 years, holds a minor in Piano Performance from Penn State, and has been playing the pipe organ for six years. He loves singing in the Penn State Concert Choir and can often be found at the piano accompanying voice events/recitals. As Director of Music, Jonah is excited to continue working with the many skilled musicians at UBBC to craft musical experiences that explore the many aspects of our faith and unite us in celebration of the loving God.
