Javier completed his undergraduate studies in orchestral conducting at the National University of Arts in Argentina. While studying in Buenos Aires, he worked as assistant conductor for the University Choir and as music director for a regional youth orchestra.

 

Currently, Javier is pursuing a Master of Music degree in orchestral conducting with a teaching assistantship at Penn State School of Music. In addition to working with orchestras, his involvement with the choral world continues growing in many ways.  Javier sings with the Penn State Concert Choir while fulfilling the courses of Graduate Choral Conducting.  UBBC is delighted that he brings his impressive skillset to conducting our Sanctuary Choir.
